Natalee Wilding supports the Communications team writing reports, website and social media content, and other materials to increase NACSA’s impact on quality authorizing.
Natalee comes to NACSA from a public policy fellowship at the DC Public Charter School Board. There she supported work on charter school funding, education legislation proposed by DC Council, and researched compliance requirements for charter school governing boards. Prior to working in charter school authorizing, Natalee taught seventh grade special education in Western Massachusetts with Teach For America.
During her Teach for America commitment, Natalee obtained a master’s degree from Boston University. She also holds a bachelor’s degree in English from Westminster College in Salt Lake City, Utah.
Natalee is deeply invested in educational equity for all children regardless of their zip code, race, socioeconomic status, or family educational history. Her work is driven by the belief that one day all children will have access to a high quality public education.
When she is not writing or reading about education, Natalee spends time hanging out with her cat Hazel, baking, and taking advantage of the outdoor beauty that is her home in Salt Lake City.
