Corrie Leech

Director of Communications

Corrie Leech develops and executes strategic communications that advance NACSA’s work to strengthen charter school authorizing and create awareness of its impact on charter school quality.

Her belief that education is a human right—one that empowers people to access all other rights and strengthens society as a whole—was reinforced during her tenure at Human Rights Watch, where she managed the production of fundraising, outreach, and cultivation events. She began her career in communications at the global public relations firm Burson-Marsteller, where her work included corporate reputation, executive visibility, and media relations support on campaigns ranging from women’s empowerment to green industry.

Corrie graduated with honors from Northwestern University, where she majored in both gender studies and political science.

In her free time, Corrie volunteers her communications skills to Restore Justice, a criminal justice nonprofit advocating for those affected by extreme sentences imposed on our youth. Her non-screen activities include learning to play guitar and raising a tiny human.
