Christina Alfaro Lopez is responsible for NACSA’s accounts payable, the development and management of contracts, and general accounting support for the Finance Team.
Her prior experience includes accounting and auditing in the public and government sector. Before joining NACSA, she was a Senior Investigator in the Massachusetts Attorney General’s Office, where her investigations uncovered millions of dollars in compensation owed to thousands of workers.
She holds a B.S. in business administration, with a concentration in accounting and auditing, from the University of California, Riverside. Currently, she is a National Urban Fellow completing her mentorship assignment at NACSA, while completing an accelerated Master of Public Administration (MPA) at the City University of New York’s Baruch College, Austin Marxe School of Public and International Affairs.
Christina believes that quality education is essential in providing opportunities to break down barriers, as she has witnessed in her personal life and professional career. In her spare time, she enjoys playing cooperative board games with her husband and friends.
